Around the world, education is increasingly viewed by all levels of society as the answer to global problems. We believe only a biblical, integrated, Christian education, that relates all of life and learning to God and His word, is sufficient to provide the answers. National schools can be strength-ened by teachers who are prepared to share their insights and experience.
In countries where doors are closing to traditional types of missionary work, doors are opening for educational initiatives. In many places that reject Western religion, politics, and ways of life, there is nonetheless a great desire for Western education, which has its roots in a biblical worldview. International schools can introduce living examples of Jesus’ love and Christian thinking almost anywhere.
TeachBeyond is about missional education – our intentional involvement in what God is doing through education to draw people to Himself. Our mission is mobilizing, equipping, and sending teachers, and partnering with others in missional education initiatives.
If you are a Christian educator, we challenge you to ‘think beyond’ where you are right now. We want to introduce you to missional education, challenge you to get involved, and help you go where God is taking you in your growth as a Christian educator – whether you stay right where you are geographically, or sense God calling you to an international setting.
